I am a printed textile designer specialising in surface pattern print design, based in the north West of England.

 

 I am interested in illustration and drawing, which I translate into design outcomes via digital process. I have an interest in natural elements and draw plants, flowers, gardens and animals in my work.

My final project is titled The Zoo and manifests as an interactive setting for greetings products and party themed accessories. The Zoo is a playful and fun theme, creating a narrative between my animal prints and products The final collection of designs and products feature interactive badges, garlands and appliques.

The main inspirations for my project comes from primary research photographing animals within the zoo environment, combined with looking at childrens story books, translating the animal images into my own drawing style.

I have recently exhibited my final graduate collection in London, at new designers 2016.
